Join a Deaf storyteller and a children’s librarian for stories, rhymes, and crafts presented in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English. This is a free drop-in for children of all ages and abilities together with a parent or caregiver. All families are welcome! Interpreters will be present.

The first 15 minutes is set aside for families to settle in, look at books together, and meet other families.

An interactive series for parents of children under age 5, as they move through the toddler and preschool years.

In this interactive series, the focus is on understanding the unique challenges parents of children under age 5 encounter as their children move through the toddler and preschool years. Topics include but are not limited to: effective communication, the link between behaviour and temperament,  the link between brain development and behavior, understanding child development, having appropriate behavioral expectations, the importance of connection, and responding to children’s misbehaviour in ways that promote growth and self regulation.
