降息成定局 加国央行有望降息到1%

对于房奴们来说，每次央行的调息都会牵动他们的神经。很快又到了央行的调息窗口，之前无数次预测可能会降息，都被加拿大央行行长Poloz坚定的维持不变，但这一次，恐怕悬了……

彭博社消息称，加拿大央行有极大的可能在3月的调息窗口中调低加拿大隔夜基准利率。这恐怕是Poloz将在6月离任前的最后一次告别演出。

由于对新冠状病毒肺炎全球蔓延的恐慌，以及其对经济带来的巨大影响， 使得全球很多国家都在调整对经济形势的判断和预期。

而加拿大原本已经脆弱的经济形势或将对此作出反应。

美联储和其他一些国家的央行已经为进一步宽松的货币政策敞开了大门，加拿大央行可能也将顺应这一趋势。

RBC银行副首席经济学家Dawn Desjardins表示，随着全球经济受COVID-19的影响，加拿大央行或将调整货币政策更加宽松来应对经济的变化。

使加拿大隔夜基准利率从现在的1.75%，降至1%。降至2017年12月以来的水平。

加拿大近五年来的5年期债券收益率经历了惊人的下滑，从今年1月1日的1.66％跌至周五的两年半低点1.07％。

由于债券收益率领先固定抵押贷款利率，因此可以预期抵押贷款放贷机构将在未来几周内继续降低利率。

如果频繁降息的话，对于选择浮动利率的房奴们来说可能会有立竿见影的变化，而对于选择固定利率的群体来说，则只有到重新续约的时候才能感受到变化。

Join a Deaf storyteller and a children’s librarian for stories, rhymes, and crafts presented in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English. This is a free drop-in for children of all ages and abilities together with a parent or caregiver. All families are welcome! Interpreters will be present.

This program takes place once a month on a Saturday: January 11, February 8, March 14, April 18, and May 9.
