根据加拿大通讯社3月31日的最新报道,加拿大皇家银行RBC预测分析说,由于新冠状病毒爆发造成的社交疏离和经济大环境的不确定性,预计加拿大的房地产市场今年将大幅回落。

根据Robert Hogue的预测,今年的房屋销售基准价格将比去年同期下降2.9%。紧缩的市场会让卖家在价格方面做出让步。
不过对于来年,Robert Hogue则信心满满十分看好。他说,由于低利率、就业市场的强劲反弹,以及移民人口的涌入,预计明年房地产的这种趋势将逆转。他预测到2021年,房市销售数量将激增逾40%,价格动态也将重新回到有利卖方的状态。
不过Hogue也分别指出,对于依赖石油工业的草原省份来说,房屋价格的下降趋势将会更快,但反弹的可能性恐怕不那么乐观。
